Activities outside school - Blanket Consent

From this week to the end of the year, depending on weather conditions, teachers of all classes would like to take their pupils out of school for activities in and around Millisle including Millisle Beach/Lagoon area, Abbey Villa grounds and other village locations. We are asking parents/guardians to give 'blanket consent' for their children to participate in such events. This consent would last for the duration of the term and would permit the Principal and Teachers to decide when it is safe and appropriate for the classes to be taken outside the school grounds for activities, without requesting further consent from parents/guardians.
